Hi there! My name is John Daniels. My research experience has been focused on machine learning for healthcare in the areas of chronic disease and infectious disease management. I believe in the transformative potential of machine learning in augmenting healthcare systems from a primarily reactive-based approach towards more proactive-based and preventive-based approaches that maintain the individual at the centre of the healthcare process.

I’m currently interested in the following areas: uncertainty quantification, generative modelling, conformal prediction, multimodal learning, and multitask learning.
